Healing Ministry
The healing ministry is an important part of who we are, with several Church members trained in this aspect of Christian service. In addition, we have regular healing services during the normal pattern of morning worship, where specific prayer for healing is available.

by an Indian Christian

O tree of Calvary, send your roots deep down into my heart.  Gather together the soil of my heart, the sands of my fickleness, the mud of my desires.  Bind them all together.

O tree of Calvary, interlace them with thy strong roots, entwine them with the network of  thy love.

From Chester Cathedral

Give me a good digestion, Lord,
And also something to digest.
Give me a healthy body, Lord,
With sense to keep it at its best.

Give me a healthy mind, good Lord,
To keep the good and pure in sight,
Which, seeing sin, is not appalled,
But finds a way to set it right.

Give me a mind that is not bored,
That does not whimper, whine or sight.
Don't let me worry overmuch
About the funny thing called I.

Give me a sense of humour, Lord,
Give me the grace to see a joke;
To get some happiness from life,
And pass it on to other folk.
